Introduction to Native American Studies
An exclusive virtual course for homeschooling families offered by Huddleston Academy! Teacher Michelle Huddleston is excited to lead a group of students on an adventure of learning about the past and present lives of real Native Americans. We will look at history, culture, and present-day issues the Native American people face.
This course will utilize hands-on activities, powerpoint, and videos – all which will be provided for you at no extra cost.
Meeting Day/Time: Tuesdays at 12:30p
Age/Grade Level: mid-elementary to middle school (2nd – 6th)
Any necessary downloads, printables, classroom meeting links, etc. will be emailed to you at least 1 week prior to the first day of class.
*Special thanks to The Good & The Beautiful for donating copies of their book, His Indian Brother, which will be used as supplemental reading throughout the duration of this course. Shipping and handling is included in the price of this course. Because of our family fee policy only one book will be sent per family. Additional copies can be purchased for an additional charge.
