Making your Torah faith the foundation of your homeschool can be overwhelming with the lack of resources. As a Torah Observant family, we understand. We also believe in the importance of diligently teaching our children the way that they should go! This way involves teaching our children the instructions (Torah) given by YHVH (Yahovah) Himself to His chosen people. Anyone who is made new through Yeshua Messiah is “that people”.
Although we have been learning, understanding, and walking out Torah for three years, we don’t claim to have all the answers – but what we do have is the help of other resources like those listed below. We are sharing these to help you along your Torah-Observant walk as well.
Resources to Help you Homeschool the Torah Way
MTOI (Messianic Torah Observant Israel) has an amazing program called YMTOI (Young Messianic Torah Observant Israel) to help make Torah the center of all you do, especially when it comes to teaching children. On their website you will find all sorts of printable materials, including the parshas, crafts, and worksheets generated in a PDF document.
If you are looking for an online resource for homeschooling Torah with pre-made lesson plans, all required material in one place, available for monthly and/or annual membership options, then you’ll enjoy Homeschooling Torah by Anne Elliott.
The team at Bible Pathway Adventures continues to create Scripturally accurate resources from coloring pages and worksheets to Bible quizzes and Bible verse copywork. Majority of their resources are absolutely free!
Using worksheets is an amazing way to teach Torah, especially to younger children. One Torah for All has an incredible layout of worksheets for each Torah portion, available in year one, two, and three! We like to use these as Shabbat activities too!
